KONINGINNE DAG .QUEENS DAY

30 April KONINGINNE DAG !!!!
This day we cellabrate the queens birthday, all the dutch people cellabrate.Hanging out the dutch flag.

 In the town Newpoort, they have 4 canons on the fort walls. Every 30 th of April they shoot the canon's 4 or 5 times.
 The firemen of Newpoort, acting as canon men.With the Newpoort flag.
 Filling the canon with gun powder , and strawpany and a canonball.


 BANG !!!!


 After the shooting , we all go to the townhouse and sing the national anthem.

    Hi Ruth,
    It's nice to see your pictures and read what your family has been doing. The buildings in Holland look so different from what we have here. They are so quaint....reminds me of the pictures in the W.G. Vandehulst books.
